Support Worker
Our client is looking for a support worker to assist her in her job role as a social worker. Our client is severely sighted but very independent. Her job role is home and office based.
She is looking for someone to drive her to and from meetings and while in meetings to take notes and give our client the bigger picture on the environment she is in. Our client will need her support worker to document facial expressions and body language used when in these meetings then discuss what has been noted after the meeting.
Some meetings can be very emotional so we are looking for someone who is strong, professional and understanding. Applicant should also be enthusiastic and reliable. Also meetings can be very last minute which will require you to be flexible.
As you will be working with Our client who is severely sighted and sitting in on meetings of a sensitive nature you will need to have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check done before starting work with our client.
This job role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to see the rewarding worker our social workers do on a daily basis.
Job role is Monday to Wednesday and 12 hours a week. Pay rate is £12.50 per hour and you will be reimbursed for mileage at 45p per mile.
