About us


The Family Solutions Service in Didcot are seeking to recruit a Family Support Worker to join their Early Help Team based in The Children and Family Centre in Didcot.


About the role


This role is a Grade 9, 37 hours a week, with a flexible working pattern to meet the needs of the service. The ability to travel around the South Oxfordshire area is essential.


The work will include case management and direct work with children, young people and their families providing timely support and interventions to address safeguarding concerns and reduce risks to children and young people.


It will also involve leading Team Around the Family meetings and delivering a range of evidence-based group programmes to children, young people and families who meet the threshold for the service both within the Children and Family Centre and at outreach venues.
