FULL AND PART TIME HOURS AVAILABLE
We are looking for Individuals to join our Learning Disability in patient service. Your role will be to support the learning disability nurses to deliver a service reflective of individual and population need. The service supports Adults with a Learning Disability presenting with a variety of additional support needs.
The post involves working across our in patient service with a requirement from staff to be able to rotate where service needs are.
Applications are sought from individuals who have experience supporting adults with a learning disability working within a Health or social care service, supporting the assessment/ treatment and or overall wellbeing needs of individuals with a Learning disability. You should have excellent communication skills to be able to work in partnership with patients, their families, the wider multidisciplinary team and other agencies.
Evidence of Training in the SVQ programmes for Health Care Support Workers at level 3, or equivalent and/or experience in this role is desired but not essential, as in-house training will be given.
