Job description
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team and provide assistance to individuals with learning disabilities in a residential care home setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing physical, emotional, and social support to service users, helping them with daily tasks, and ensuring their safety and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a care home or residential home setting and possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work within our goals and values.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with their daily living activities.
- Provide emotional support to individuals.
- Help individuals to maintain their independence and dignity.
- Ensure the safety of service users in the home.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members and external agencies.
- Maintain accurate records of individual's progress and care plans.
- Develop relationships with individuals and their families.
- Provide assistance with medication administration.
- provide support for meaningful activities.

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
