Your role
The Complex Needs Day Services support customers from a range of communities with differing support needs such as dementia, mental health and physical impairment; for this reason, we would especially like to hear from you if you have caring experience and are an enthusiastic, flexible and compassionate person.
Although the role is primarily based at Calverlands day service, there is an expectation to cover other locations within the service when required
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and to be proactive when working on your own as well as working with the team. To be motivated and a critical thinker with the ability to understand the needs of your customers.
Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as possessing numeracy abilities.
What you will bring to the role
Experience is not essential but is preferred. Candidates must have an awareness and understanding of the needs of older and disabled people and be able to support to overcome barriers. The posts require providing personal care and support, with a commitment to strength-based approaches.
