We have an opportunity for a Factory Worker to join us in Southend, Essex!
Responsibilities:
- Operate automatic assembly equipment
- To assemble products manually & automatically
- Comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental & COSHH requirements
- Completion of First offs quality samples and complete quality documentation
- Carry out activities in line with Company procedures and process standard work
- Identify improvements
- Ensure efficient running of Assembly equipment
- Feed components and replenish materials for assembly / packing processes
- Participate in improvement teams and initiatives
- Actively support waste reduction initiatives
- May be expected to work other shift patterns
- Must be able to read & understand Quality documentation
Your Skills and Experience:
- Be fully committed to achieving the team’s objectives and targets
- Ideally conversant with assembly systems
- Proactive towards improvement ideas/programmes
- Self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative
- Familiar with working to a high standard of quality control
- Willing to adapt to new working practices and techniques
- Operate within a high-volume production environment
- Flexible approach, willing to train to Level 4 standards & other processes
- Good communicator at all levels
