Social Impact Coordinator
About the role

Yet we also know too many people are excluded from everyday health. Health exclusion can happen for many reasons, ranging from a person’s race, gender, age and sexuality to factors such as not knowing how to manage a health condition. We want to change this by understanding what holds people back from better everyday health so we can include them in opportunities to improve their health and that of their loved ones.
This is why we have made driving health inclusivity the single-minded focus of our Social Impact as we work towards fulfilling our purpose.
We are working to tackle three big barriers that we know hold people back from better everyday health, and where we, as Haleon, are best placed to help:
- Health Literacy – growing the knowledge, skills and support that will inform and empower healthy living and healthy behaviours
- Healthcare Accessibility – improving the availability of and access to healthcare that meets the needs of underserved people
- Bias and prejudice – tackling bias and prejudice in health systems and challenging outdated social norms by promoting more inclusive policies and practices
Here at Haleon, we are looking for a Social Impact Coordinator to support the team across a number of key workstreams including global volunteering, emergency support, charitable giving and supporting across the team more widely with administrative support.
Part of Haleon’s corporate sustainability team, reporting into the Social Impact Programme Manager, the Social Impact Coordinator will also support the Social Impact reporting processes at key times across the year.
This role will also work closely with the wider Haleon Corporate Affairs and Communications teams and central functions.
Key responsibilities
- Administrative/coordination support to wider SI team
- Support SI Manager on delivery of global volunteering programme
- Manage and monitor global SI policies
- Manage employee giving global programmes (Charitable matched giving), ensuring that all requirements are met and in line with global policies/regulations etc
- Support SI Reporting Manager on Community Investment reporting and at peak moments for wider reporting (Q4, Q1)
- Support global charitable product donation & charitable giving requests
- Coordinate ongoing feed of internal and external comms on SI activities
- Support SIM in putting our global emergency response protocol into action when emergencies arise
Qualifications and skills
Essential
- Strong IT/Systems and administration skills
- Experience working with large amounts of data within a portal/database
- Ability to manage multiple workloads to deliver to tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate to stakeholders (including senior level) both verbally and in writing
- Work well within a team and develop strong lasting relationships with third parties / clients
Preferred
- Experience in CGP company/s
- Experience working in a global role, interacting with multiple markets and culture
- Experience creating and activating Internal and external communications materials
- Previous work on Social Impact or charitable giving topics would be an advantage
