Northamptonshire Childrens Trust are currently looking for Senior Social Workers to join their Safeguarding Team! This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Social Worker who can hit the ground running to really make a difference in the lives and children and families within Northamptonshire.

Accommodation / travel allowance is available for applicants who live 60 miles away with up to £150 per week being available to assist with travel to and from work.

About the role:

• Undertaking Child Protection enquiries under section 47 of Children's Act of 1989.
• Presenting cases at Legal Planning meetings.
• Initiating care proceedings, writing court statements, care plans and have given coherent evidence during an Emergency Protection Order (EPO), Interim Care Order applications as well securing final orders. (Successfully obtained the EPOs, ICOs, SGOs, Supervision Orders, placement orders, etc)
• Writing Child Protection reports and presenting cases at Initial and Review child Protection Conferences and successfully implemented, monitored and reviewed the resultant Child Protection Plans.

For this role you must:

• Hold a relevant Qualification - BA Hons, DiPSW..
• Be SWE Registered
• Have completed your ASYE
