Family Support Worker
Permanent
Full Time 37 hours
Grade 7 £24,044 - £26,740 depending on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit for a Family Support Worker to work in the East area of Doncaster.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of family support working directly with children and families.
- Is Confident, knowledgeable and has the skills to succeed in this intensive parenting and family support role and who is able to work in a busy working environment.
- Is a highly motivated practitioner who can work as part of a family support team and work collaboratively with our partners.
- Is competent of recording on an electronic system and who is a reflective practitioner.
- Understands safeguarding and thresholds.
You will a need to have the ability, and experience of, working directly completing parenting sessions and other appropriate interventions with families that have complex needs at a Team Around the Child level.
You will need to be able to complete an Early Help Assessment and plan. You will use a whole family approach and evidenced based practices to improve the outcomes for children and families you work with.
