Job description
Prevention & Personalisation for Erewash Personal and Prevention Team is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our very busy First Response Team. This is a temporary post for up to one year covering maternity leave.
The successful candidate will be experienced in adult social work and able to demonstrate that they can work in a person-centred way in accordance with current legislation and policies. Core tasks will include assessment, support planning and creative signposting. You will contribute regularly to the team duty rota.
The social worker joining us will need the ability to prioritise competing demands and manage their time effectively. The role includes assessing care needs and working with people and their support networks to create support plans. Using person centred, strengths-based approaches we support people to identify and achieve their goals. They will also have the ability to assess and manage risk and work effectively under the Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults policy and procedures.
The successful candidate will be given opportunity for daily support and peer group discussion and will be provided with regular professional supervision where you will be supported to achieve best practice.
