Position: Support Worker
Salary: £11.15 - £11.45 per hour
Service: Ellsworth House, Radstock

About Your Role
- Ellsworth House in Midsomer Norton, Somerset provides a residential service for adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours which others may find challenging.
- The focus is very much on inclusion, building friendships and enjoying interests. Individuals are involved in monthly residents meetings and recruitment and are actively involved in the running of the home.
- You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out.
- You’ll develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping and domestic duties.
- You’ll provide help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.

- You’ll then have an interview scheduled at the service and have your chance to go down and meet the team.
- If you are successful we’ll go through an Onboarding Process obtaining a Free DBS Check and References.
- You’ll then start with our 3-day online induction with our dedicted Learning & Development team prior to returning to the service to continue your growing career at Consensus.
