Description
Temporary post until 31/03/2025 due to grant funding.
The Youth Support Service are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic School Support Youth Worker who will be linked with Ysgol Maes Y Gwendraeth secondary provision working within the School and community providing targeted youth work support.
The cohort of children and young people will range from the ages of 10-18 years and the focus of delivery intervention will be to help develop the skills they need to live, learn and achieve.
You will also assist with extending support to families/carers and link in with other networks and colleagues both within the education field, families first agencies and wider Youth Support Service.
You will need to be able to communicate fluently in Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
