Community Support Worker – Birmingham
Permanent part time hours (Up to 25 hours per week) @ £12 per hour weekdays, £13 per hour Saturdays and Sundays
We are supporting our client to find the best person for their Community Support Worker roles.
Are you imaginative and creative? Do you love working with children? This is an exciting opportunity to support a fun loving nine-year-old girl with cerebral palsy, and physical disabilities living in the community in her family home.
The position involves personal care.

Essential Requirements Include:
· Previously worked with children
· Ability to work using own initiative.
· Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
· Reliable
· Practical
· Proactive
· Sensitive to and respectful of family needs and space
· Ability to support therapy programs consistently.
· Ability to recognize own limitations and request help from family and therapists as needed.
· Ability to drive / hold a valid driving license.
Preferred:
An awareness of cerebral palsy would be beneficial.
Willingness to undertake training in addition to mandatory training.
Previous experience in a similar role
Flexible approach to working hours.

Able to sing or play an instrument.
