Social Worker/AMHP (ICMHT) - 2 positions available

About the role
The Integrated Community Mental Health Team (ICMHT) are a community based assessment and treatment service for people suffering mental health problems who are aged over 18 years.
This is an opportunity to work in a busy ICMHT covering AMHP/Social Worker responsibilities as a team member, with a shared Mental Health caseload.

About you
You will preferably already be warranted as a Practising AMHP but we are keen to encourage any newly qualified Social Workers to consider gaining experience in Mental Health.
Newly Qualified Social Workers are welcome to apply for this position, but would need to undertake further learning and post qualifying awards, to progress through the career grades. The starting salary for NQSWs is £31,698 (Grade 3), upon completion of ASYE is £33,177 (Grade 3) and will rise to £41,704 (Grade 5) upon completion of PG Certificate.
These posts have regular supervision with a senior social work practitioner; you will have a planned training pathway in order to prepare you for your AMHP course. There is also a programme of training organised for all AMHP’s that you will be a part of, including an AMHP practice issues group every two months and AMHP training six times per year which will include law updates.
