This role is office-based in MediaCityUK, Salford, Greater Manchester. Applications from outside of Greater Manchester, unfortunately, will not be considered. This location is within five minutes walking distance of two Metrolink stops.
About the role:
The Soccer Archive is looking for a Social Video Editor/Presenter to join our team!
We are looking for a video editor who’s comfortable on camera to help us grow and maintain our brand. You will be responsible for editing and being involved in creating social content to be published on our ever-growing social media channels. You will liaise with the social media manager, and help maintain a strong online presence, engaging with our followers. Furthermore, you will be co-presenting video content on various platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
Responsibilities:
- Research and analyse online reviews, trends, and competition to identify current social media best practices.
- Aid in developing an effective social strategy by analysing current social media channels, internal company content, and competitors' content.
- Create and present content that engages with our audience and drives traffic to our website.
- Oversee the creation of graphics for the website to ensure they align with the company’s values and marketing objectives.
- Directly reporting to the social media manager, ensuring all social media channels are running smoothly and posting at a high level of quality.
About you:
- Excellent knowledge of editing on Adobe Premier Pro/Canva for Instagram and TikTok ratios is essential.
- Confidence in front of camera, with the ability to back-and-forth with other on-screen presenters/talent.
- A strong interest and passion for all things football is essential.
- Highly flexible and adaptive to the needs of a fast-paced environment.
- Highly proficient in the use of social media platforms.
- Highly proficient in the use of creative suites.
- Proficiency in the use of camera, audio, and lighting equipment is a bonus but not essential.
- Experience in creating digital graphics such as infographics and boards.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week
Salary: £10.00 per hour
