We are looking for a talented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches our vision and elevates our video content.
Ultimately, as a Film and Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story, as well as use your own creative eye to come forward with new ideas on how to keep content fresh and exciting.
K E Y R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S
Must have an in-depth knowledge of a variety of software for high-quality video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro X
Highly skilled in editing footage in post-production
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Be available through all contracted working hours to pick up on urgent/immediate edits as soon as client feedback is received
Work with the team to construct creative responses to a specific brief or to construct ideas for new and exciting organic video content
Plan, storyboard, and help execute the shoot with the creative team
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and use industry best practices to maximize final content
Excellent computer literacy and ability to work with a fast turnaround in mind
Excellent interpersonal skills - you will be required to work with numerous members of the team which will require clear communication
Create engaging thumbnails with a focus to retain existing audiences and gain new fans
R E Q U I R E M E N T S
Previous experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Highly organised and able to balance different priorities to ensure a smooth delivery of campaigns
In-depth knowledge of various social platforms is essential, with an understanding of the differences between them (e.g. Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok,
Snap, Twitch, and LinkedIn)
Keen interest in the talent and entertainment space
Proven work experience as a Video Editor
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Keen interest in YouTube video content and knowledge of other social media platforms
Thorough knowledge of timing, motion, and continuity in relation to editing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £16,959.11-£37,052.49 per year
