The Role

An exciting social video editing role which focuses on driving the direction of the brands social video assets through unique and engaging edits as well as developing unique and exciting social shoot concepts. The role will include owning and developing all social video under the social media manager, ensuring all social video is edited to brand standard and aligned with our premium vision as well as capturing premium-level, on-brand social video on social shoots.


General:

  • Lead on editing all social video assets including Instagram stories, reels, TikTok, Pinterest , Twitter and LinkedIn according to the brands luxury aesthetic wit use of motion graphics and text where required. Leading social shoots and developing brand assets in line with the premium brand vision.
  • Lead on co-ordinating social shoots and assist on campaign shoots for social content creation, owning and developing all shoot briefs and executing to a degree of excellence. Monitoring output and feeding back to the team on output, deliverables, and usages.
  • Working with the social team to develop social video content in line with key trading moments and presenting back to the wider team. Input in developing strategies for increased international engagement through social video.
  • Regular and weekly updates and sign-off of all video brand assets across all social channels. Constantly developing and streamlining these processes.
  • Day-to-day management of workflow, KPIS and quality. Reporting back to the Social Media manager monthly.


Creative & Production


  • Developing unique social shoot concepts alongside the Social Media Manager that drive the brand vision forward in line with key trading moments
  • Assisting the Social Media Manager in developing strategies and concepts and organising, planning and assisting on ecom, campaign and social shoots at home and abroad.
  • Highly organised, and delivery focused to ensure brief is fully delivered and relevant teams are communicated to.
  • Assisting the Social Media Manager with ad-hoc shoot duties (if and when) required including organising social shoots,


Requirements


  • 2-3 years in a similar role
  • You are passionate about what you do and have an eye for detail.
  • You are able to use all manner of video editing programmes including, but not limited to premier pro and photoshop.
  • You live and breathe social media and have an in-depth understanding of algorithms, engagement strategies, trending sounds and viral moments.
  • You have a genuine passion and creative flair for fashion, video, social media and graphics.
  • You have a good understanding of brand and a critical eye with attention for detail
  • You are an ‘ideas person’ with a ‘can do’ attitude- enthusiastic, self-directed, and full of creative energy
  • You can manage your own workflow and meet tight deadlines and can be flexible when required.
  • You are able to assist in the recruitment and mentorship of junior team members as we onboard.
  • Strong communication (both verbal & written) & interpersonal skills and can take direction and feedback well
  • Self-motivated, detail-focused and can drive collaborative success.
  • Encourage collaborative behaviours and flourish when working with highly creative and productive teams in all environments.
  • Able to display autonomy and confidence within the team by ensuring all projects are tracked, communicated, and running efficiently.
