Job Title: Social Media Specialist (Part-Time)

Location: Remote

Hours: 40 hours a month. Part-time, flexible hours

Salary: £230 per week

Terms: 6 months fixed term contract

Marks Out Of Tenancy, the UK's leading tenant review platform, is seeking a creative, results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms to increase engagement and drive more reviews to our website.

Key Responsibilities:

Social media strategy: Develop and present a comprehensive social media strategy document to increase engagement, raise brand awareness, and drive more reviews to our website.

Content creation: Plan, create, and curate compelling and shareable content tailored to each social media platform, aligned with our brand voice and target audience.

Community management: Monitor, engage with, and respond to comments and messages from our followers, creating a positive and interactive experience that encourages user-generated content and reviews.

Analytics and reporting: Regularly track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement and growth.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with our Community Outreach Coordinator and other team members to ensure alignment between online and offline activities.

Stay informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to inform and refine our strategy.

Ad campaigns: Develop, manage, and optimise paid social media advertising campaigns to reach a broader audience and drive more reviews.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience: Demonstrable experience in managing social media accounts for brands or organisations, with a track record of driving engagement and growth.

Platform expertise: In-depth knowledge of frequently used social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and any emerging platforms relevant to our audience.

Content creation: Strong copywriting, editing, and visual content creation skills, with the ability to adapt content to different platforms and audiences.

Analytical skills: Proficiency in using social media analytics tools to monitor and report on performance, with experience in making data-driven decisions.

Time management: Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with a remote team.

Adaptability: Ability to stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices, adapting our strategy as needed.
