About the role
The Digital Engagement Team is responsible for delivering against the organisation’s strategic goals and for providing the digital expertise to support the delivery of campaigning, fundraising and other Amnesty International UK priorities.
The Social Media Specialist will work closely with teams across the whole organisation to support AIUKs communications across social media. As the social media expert in the organisation, they will help to deliver communications that attract, inspire and maintain relationships with supporters. The role will be accountable for looking at how we tell stories about the work we do at Amnesty International UK, look for opportunities across new and existing platforms to increase our reach and strengthen our communications.

The role may be for you if:
- You’re skilled in developing and delivering social media strategies.
- You have an eye for creating engaging graphics for use across social media platforms.
- You can evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, using this to continually test and optimise.
- You collaborate and positively contribute to an inclusive culture.
- You also have a good knowledge of best practices for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, Tiktok etc.
