Social Media & Marketing @ Camp Kerala
Start Date: Mid-April 2023
Salary: Competitive package
Remote Role:
- Work 4 days a week in the quiet season, this will increase around events
- Be available throughout the week on the end of the phone/email for any emergencies
- Attend certain days in the CK office in Somerset, events, and some relevant meetings in person
- Required to call into the Monday Morning Meeting at 9.30am each Monday
Camp Kerala are looking for someone with:
- Ideally 4+ years of professional experience in social media, marketing, and communications
- Creative open mind, willing to explore new avenues
- Confident with technology and design software
- A sharp eye for detail & patient cross-checking temperament
- Presentation and punctuality awareness
- Confident in pursuing suppliers & colleagues in a civilized manner to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to travel to Camp Kerala events and HQ in Somerset
- Capability of working long & challenging hours during events
- A positive, calm, and diligent personality, capable of coping in stressful situations
Social Media:
- Creating content strategy and plans across events and CK brand and delivering the agreed post schedule on time. Campaign planning, copywriting, image selection, editing, creating short clips, scheduling content, community management, reporting and analysis.
- Competent at creating reals, short videos and creating content at a high standard.
- Responsible for growing and enhancing CK’s following and sales through social media.
- Executing the social required for the Brand Partners at events as agreed with Freya.
Marketing:
- Working closely with the New Business and sales teams.
- Research and development when required from Partners.
- Managing the photographers and videographer’s communications. Supplying them with detailed briefs well in advance of events. Agree the briefs and timelines for these suppliers with Freya ensuring that the Brand Partners are factored in.
- Project planning & timelines for marketing activations and plans – for example Charity events.
- Collating content for marketing campaigns: e.g. imagery for the purpose of the campaign, copy for the campaigns, landing pages.Sign off from Sales and Design team to ensure it aligns with the sales message and objective.
- Assistance with what to include in the sales decks before they go to design
- Working closely with the tech team to ensure, photos, and menus are updated after each event.
- Pushing Camp Kerala sales through all our online platforms.
- Platform management: e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook log in's, admin access, meta tagging, audience management (grouping our clients to build replica audiences).
- Alongside the Tech manager keep on top of the CK Stock photos on shared folders and share with the relevant CK Home Team members. Point of contact for any of the team reaching out for a specific photo.
- Managing the CK app during the build and the event weekend, and pushing out the relevant notifications and reminders.

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
