Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Social Media Marketing Coordinator with WaterBear, a Music College based in Sheffield and Brighton.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and highly organised Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our social media presence across various platforms, ensuring effective content distribution, engagement, and brand consistency.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute a comprehensive social media content
- strategy to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Manage multiple content calendars, coordinating the distribution of posts across
- platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Utilise content management platform Hootsuite to schedule and monitor posts, ensuring
- timely and consistent publication.
- Create engaging and visually appealing social media content, including graphics, videos,
- and written posts.
- Foster audience engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries
- promptly in the appropriate tone of voice.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimise content strategy and improve
- audience reach.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, students, and
- industry partners, to gather and promote music education related content, in particular
- student body content.
- Maintain brand consistency and uphold Water Bear’s values and messaging across all
- social media channels.
- Assist in organising and promoting events, workshops, and webinars via social media platforms.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations
- for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
Qualifications:
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
Skills Required and Person Specifications:
- Previous experience in social media content coordination is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms, especially TikTok, YouTube, Instagram,
- Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Familiarity with content management platform Hootsuite is a strong advantage.
- A background in music or a genuine passion for the music industry is preferred.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple content calendars
- and diaries effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with various team members and stakeholders.
- A proactive and creative mindset with the ability to adapt to changing trends.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
- Strong literacy skills and a high level of computer proficiency.

- Source, plan, develop and deploy digital content across a variety of channels including your website and social media.
- Execute multi-channel digital campaigns using online platforms.
- Monitor and evaluate channel and campaign performance using different analytical tools.
- Adopt a test and learn approach to digital marketing activities, making recommendations for improvement.
