SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
LONDON (Hybrid Working)

We partner with the brands of tomorrow, future-focused and growing companies, from household names like Guinness, Dettol, and Primark to the next generation of big brands like Nando's, Uber and Fever-Tree.
We're an ambitious team of almost 100 people and not stopping there. We're growing fast and so we're looking for another Social Media Manager to join our team and work full-time on on one of our biggest and long term clients, Mars Wrigley, across their range of confectionary brands.
As a Social Media Manager your objective is to strategically execute industry-leading social content. From managing our organic content plans, copywriting, community management, reactive content, low-fi content creation, to turning an influencer strategy into reality.
️ What you'll be doing:
- Content ideation and platform strategy: working with our Strategy, Social Media Manager, and Creative teams to ensure we are producing best-in-class, social-first content.
- Low-fi content creation: Getting hands-on jumping on trends to support social-first content creation.
- Scheduling all content across relevant channels.
- Creative copywriting: acting as the voice across the brand channels, writing copy across community responses as well as for captions on our social posts.
- Influencer Strategy: creating briefs for influencers campaigns that align with the brand purpose. Consulting on influencer campaigns for the brand and optimising the content.
- Community Management: owning the strategy for getting into culture through building with community and responding to any comments which give the brand an opportunity to do so.
- Trend-watching: Seeking out opportunities to be reactive through regular monitoring of the platforms, pitching, and creating content reacting to social trends and cultural commentary.
- Reporting: responsible for reporting on the success of our output, contextualising data and dissecting performance, leading on any actions in content in response to performance.
- Client communications: Proactively and promptly engage in day-to-day communication with the clients, wider Mars teams and other agencies, organising weekly calls, meetings and Quarterly Reviews.
Who we're looking for:
- You love chocolate: You don't have to eat it but you are definitely excited to work on one of the worlds most iconic chocolate brands!
- You're a creative thinker: You're able to work independently and collaboratively on ideation for social content.
- You love brands and social media: you're fascinated by brands, how they market themselves, and use social media to do this.
- You like creating visual presentations: to help communicate our social strategies and content ideas.
- You have confidence with clients: you enjoy interacting with clients directly, building close relationships, discussing ideas, presenting work, taking feedback.
- You take pride in your work: you always strive to be world-class and are meticulous about your approach and standars.
- You have real drive and ambition: you'll be constantly adapting to the ever-changing world of social, you have have a growth mindset and are a problem solver.
- You'll have two or more years of experience working with social media (agency or brand side).
