Job description
Job Title: Social Media Manager
Salary: £32,000
Contract: Full-Time & Permanent
Location: Glasgow/Hybrid. Combination of home and office working.
We are seeking an ambitious Social Media Manager to join our in-house marketing team to assist with our digital campaigns, across a wide range of both paid and organic channels. You will be tasked with developing a deep understanding of our key audiences, then using these insights to create content that will build awareness, convince and convert.
The ideal candidate will have the experience to plan, create and schedule organic content autonomously. They will be accustomed to coordinating creative agencies to produce high quality image, video & graphic assets, and the critical ability to instinctively know what looks good and what doesn't. Hands-on experience of photo and/or video editing software would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
An important element of the role will be researching and establishing connections with local influencers and communities so previous experience of outreach with the objective of increasing brand awareness and sales is preferred.
Some experience of setting up paid media campaigns across Meta and Google platforms would be ideal but we don’t expect you to be an expert yet as further training can be provided.
We’re looking for someone who will delve into tasks with a ‘can do’ attitude and is eager to continue learning within the role. We’re a fast growing company and want you to grow right here alongside us. This is a full-time, permanent role. Opportunities for development and progression within the company are significant.
