TransferRoom is a hyper-growth B2B SaaS business on a mission to change the football transfer market for the better. We do this by empowering football clubs, agents and players to be successful in the transfer market by giving them real-time market intelligence and direct access to a global network of decision-makers.
Since our launch in 2017, clubs have used TransferRoom to facilitate over 3,000 transfers. We’re proud that today over 650 clubs across 100 leagues in 60+ countries are accelerating their success on the platform.
We're looking for a Social Media Manager to bring their native expertise with key social channels used by our various customers - Clubs, Agents and Players at leagues around the world to grow and engage our audience.
Outcomes
- Create top quality social media content
- Elevate the execution of our Social Media Marketing to the highest level
- Use all the newest and most effective tricks in the book, including your own creative touch, to increase our audience through fame, post engagement and downstream commercial performance
- Work with Designers and Content Managers to identify the most useful assets and templates for social media
- Devise completely new Social Media campaigns and approaches including revamping the feel of our feeds to ensure that we appeal to Clubs, Agents and also Players
- Manage existing social activity e.g. new club and player deal announcements, testimonials/success stories, clever uses of data visualisation and distribute them in the most effective manner possible.
- Create new social media capabilities such as live-streaming of key event coverage
- Expand TR’s coverage on new platforms such as TikTok
- Manage the boosting of relevant posts to give key content maximum reach
- Help with the management of simple paid social campaigns
- Introduce technologies to support the management and scheduling of posts and to engage with the community
- Scope out, recommend and integrate any relevant technologies to assist with the effectiveness of the channel
Who you are:
- You are obsessed with sport, particularly football.
- At least 5 years social media management and executional experience at a fast moving B2C or B2B SaaS business.
- A true social native, skilled in a range of social tools, platforms and business softwares e.g. Later, Klear, Sprout, G Suite, Canva.
- Familiarity and experience in helping to brief and develop assets for multiple formats even if not the technical producer
- Clear communicator, comfortable sharing ideas, feedback and managing expectations with colleagues across all teams, experience levels and technical capabilities.
- A brand champion with a passion for pushing creativity within established brand guidelines.
- Curious personality, always looking for new knowledge, tools and insights to keep evolving our design capabilities.
- Proactive, self-starter who can not only get stuff done, but also can decide what not to do
- You’re hungry to leave no stone unturned with social media tactics and strategies to hit ambitious targets & KPIs with a sharp focus on maintaining our market leading position.
- You’re able to come into the Central London office 4 days a week.
