The Mandrake Hotel is seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to oversee our online presence and manage our social media platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies that align with our brand, increase engagement, and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement, in partnership with the creative director's and hotel owner's visions.
  • Create and manage social media content calendars
  • Manage the hotel's social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and comments across all social media platforms
  • Analyze social media metrics and prepare monthly reports to track growth and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices and implement them to improve social media performance
  • Collaborate with the hotel's sales and marketing team to create integrated campaigns that promote the hotel's offerings
  • Work closely with other departments in the hotel to ensure that all social media content is accurate, on-brand, and aligns with the hotel's messaging
  • Manage and oversee social media advertising campaigns
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all social media channels

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in social media management
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills
  • Proven ability to create engaging social media content and grow social media communities
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and report on social media metrics
  • Experience managing social media advertising campaigns
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • A passion for hospitality and an understanding of the luxury hotel market
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
