Through their various programs and initiatives, they strive to promote physical and mental well-being, education, inclusion, and social cohesion.
Role Overview:
As a Social Media Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the Foundation's online presence and engaging with their diverse audience. Working closely with the Foundation's delivery staff, you will assist in developing and implementing social media strategies across multiple platforms to promote their initiatives, raise awareness, and foster community engagement.
- Create engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to support fundraising activities, events, and community initiatives.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and engage with followers to build a strong online community.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop content calendars, brainstorm new ideas, and contribute to the overall marketing strategy.
- Analyse social media metrics and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up to date with the Foundation's programs, events, and community activities to provide accurate and timely information through social media platforms.
- A genuine passion for sports
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Creativity and the ability to generate engaging and visually appealing content.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and an understanding of key metrics.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design software and video editing tools would be advantageous.

Training to be provided
The Juice Academy is a digital marketing Academy based in Castlefield, Manchester. They train up to 80 apprentices a year, whilst the apprentices work with businesses around the North West (and sometimes further afield!). The training is delivered by industry professionals from their sister company, Tangerine Communications. The Juice Academy training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning within the academy in Castlefield, and online delivery via Zoom. Apprentices will also receive the on the job training in the workplace. The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices are expected to produce a portfolio of work and complete a series of assessments. Full digital marketing training to be provided on-the-job and off-the-job. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching.

You apply on The Juice Academy website, filling in the written application form to the best of your ability, paying attention to spelling, grammar and punctuation. Successful candidates will be invited to an online assessment session where you will complete several tasks. If you are successful, you will then be invited to our Boot Camp recruitment day on the 20th of July where you will have the opportunity to meet the employers and hopefully get an interview and be offered a job on the day.
Note: The Juice Academy will recruit a number of apprentices to start in July and while you’re applying for a position with this employer your application may be sent to other employers if it's unsuccessful with this employer.
- Please note: For the first year, you will be paid a minimum salary of £16,000. Thereafter, your pay will be increased to the National Minimum Wage for age. All salaries are set at the employers’ discretion; however, this will be the minimum you will receive.
