Fitness Business uni is looking for an experienced social media manager who will be responsible for running our in-house social media channels. You will also plan and create content for each individual account.
Your primary focus will be running accounts on Instagram, TikTok & Facebook. You will be required to have a good understanding of how B2B businesses work and an understanding of our client base.
You must be a driven creative individual with strong storytelling capabilities and a passion social media.
The role will consist of:
- Responsible for managing up to 7 social media accounts
- Creating social media plans for each account and executing the ideas
- Creating content for each account and ensuring the graphics are in line with branding.
- Writing captions that match the brand/business tone of voice and include all necessary details & tags.
- Posting on all major social media platforms. Primarily: Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook but also YouTube.
- Researching and providing ideas for new content
- Occasionally providing on-location support to assist with social filming on shoots and during live events. This will sometimes include having to travel for work and overnight stays where necessary.
- Working across various brands and striving to replicate their core messaging and communication style.
- Working to meet specific deadlines & targets.
- Reporting on channel performance on Monday meetings with the Director.
- Creating documents and presentations to show performance over time and discuss future goals.
- Presenting your findings to your manager and clients to help develop and influence upcoming strategies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working as a social media manager
- A degree in Marketing, Communications or another related field
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube) and social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite and Buffer)
- Experience or knowledge about the fitness industry

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
