The Role: Social Media Manager

Overview of the role:

  • Maintenance and growth of clients social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest.
  • Develop an engaging and creative social media strategy to align with business objectives of clients.
  • Adjust the social media content calendar in line with awareness days, clients priorities and brand guidelines.
  • Develop inspirational, educational and entertaining content for regular scheduled posts to enlighten clients audiences and promote their brand.
  • Research potential collaborators, partners and influences for projects.
  • noiceDesign and present new social media campaign ideas to clients.
  • Monitor all social media platforms for communication.
  • Stay up to date on upcoming trends and potential new ways we can collaborate with existing content.
  • Control the quality of social media contents and copy by using the traffic light system.
  • Maintain client communication via email, Slack and Teams.
  • Reporting on clients accounts on either a weekly or monthly basis.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to design and create any content that needs to be delivered for clients.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure brand consistency for all clients.
  • Be able to work on projects independently, whilst still communicating with the wider team.
  • Be confident in using editing software, such as; Canva and TikTok/IG video editing apps.

  • Travel to clients for site visits and shootings.

Skills and requirements:

  • Highly organised
  • 2+ years experience within an agency
  • Proven experience planning and producing social media content
  • Experience working with a fast-paced start-up or owner-managed business would be an advantage
  • Confident communicator at all levels and able to build rapport with a wide range of people
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Positive approach, good communicator and a team player
  • Analytical and data driven approach.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Later, Canva, Sprout Social.
  • Flexible approach and owning job responsibilities
  • Be a nice person
