A vacancy has arisen at our Head Office in Colwyn Bay for a Digital and Social Media Lead. This is a part time position (21 hours a week) for which applications are now being invited:
We are looking for an individual to:
- Manage and adopt a commercial approach to the continuous development of North Wales Tourism’s infrastructure (online & offline).
- Create a quality digital experience for North Wales Tourism members and visitors to North Wales.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage the North Wales Tourism suite of web sites.
- Ensure data protection and cyber security systems are in place monitored and updated
- To oversee and increase user engagement of the company’s social media channels
- Responsibility for the management of the data that’s inputted into the Go North Wales website
- Maximise income for the company through the various digital advertising channels
- Compile digital intelligence on performance associated with the company’s digital infrastructure and social media channels.
- Support North Wales Tourism members to improve digital skills through presentations and workshops.
- Manage and protect all the company’s associated brands through close scrutiny and policies aligned to our brand guidelines.
- Effectively plan, resource and allocate digital infrastructure in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- Develop and structure social media strategy for the following platforms as a minimum: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin & TikTok.
- Recommend additional resources as needed
- Collaborate with the marketing team to help advise on design elements for the websites.
- Measure and share the success of social media campaigns.
The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage but not essential.
