Ink - one of the world's leading travel media companies - is looking for a talented Head of Social Media to help grow and manage Ink's portfolio of social channels.
The successful candidate will be a social native, attuned to emerging trends on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube especially, and adept at identifying fascinating stories based on incredible people from around the world. An ability to lead a social team and oversee social strategy is a must. Experience working on paid-for social campaigns is preferred.

Responsibilities
· Overseeing the social strategy across the following social media channels: Business Traveler USA, More Corners, Hemispheres and ReachTV amongst others
· Overseeing a social team of two to build a schedule of brilliant travel and human interest content, and managing workflow to ensure steady content delivery
· Regularly analysing and reporting on data from all channels
· Spotting emerging trends across channels and contributing ideas for new formats based on that research
· Working with the team to manage the production of short, shareable videos suitable for TikTok and Instagram, and longer-form videos for YouTube
· Aligning with the digital and magazine teams to reformat content for social
· Developing audience profiles for our channels
· Managing some social activity in conjunction with Ink's airline partners
Experience & Skills
· Experience managing the organic social media accounts of a media or lifestyle brand
· Experience creating compelling content for social platforms, especially video
· Exceptional copywriting skills and writing to a professional level; the ability to quickly produce clean and attention-grabbing captions and copy
· Knowing what people want to share on social media and identifying viral travel stories
· Experience with social analytics and reporting
· Proficient in Meta Business Suite and other social platform tools
· Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation
Essentials
· Minimum 2 years' experience in a social media management role or equivalent senior social role
· BS/BA in Communications, English, Journalism or related field and /or equivalent
· A calm, friendly can-do attitude
· Fluent English speaker (other languages a bonus!)
Bonus
· Experience managing paid media for social campaigns is preferred
· Experience working with video, photo and design software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Canva
· Experience using viral story finding tools to identify trending content
