About the role:
We're looking for an experienced, full-time Social Media Manager to join our B2B marketing team in the international education sector. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll work with the wider sales and marketing teams to develop and execute our social media strategy, in line with our marketing strategy.
An exciting position at the heart of the marketing team, where you will contribute to our audience growth and market leading positioning, curating and creating content to engage our distinct and knowledgeable global audiences across our core social media platforms, currently: Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. To ensure your success in this role, you will be an experienced social media manager with strong design skills and excellent attention to detail, comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, friendly and supportive environment.
Responsibilities of role:
- Setting the strategy for ICEF’s social media accounts
- Manage the social media calendars across all platforms for all ICEF events and services, ensuring timings align with product and event launches
- Design and production of social media content including graphics and video
- Support the Head of Visual content in mapping out customer needs/content requirements at key journey stages
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content plans are integrated with other marketing activity
- Work with the Copywriter and Marketing Director on post approval processes
- Develop and foster external relationships with relevant groups on social media to syndicate our content
- Streamline processes for community management
- Oversee social media reporting to generate a schedule of test and learn
- Stay on top of the latest trends in social media as well as the activity of our competitors and best in class social media
Who we are looking for:
- At least 4 years of copywriting experience
- Bags of enthusiasm and a strong collaborator
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-volume workload
- An eye for creative design with a portfolio of social media designs to share
- Passionate about experimentation, focused on results and eager to improve
- Versatile, flexible and aren't afraid to dive into the detail
- You take responsibility, and you drive change.
- Excellent communication skills
