Hot Clucks is looking for a Content Writer to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for creating original content that will be published on our website, social media pages, and other digital platforms. This position will also be responsible for the creation of content that will be used to attract new customers and maintain an existing customer base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Journalism, etc)
• Previous experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience writing for a digital publication is preferred but not required.
• Experience with WordPress is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to proofread and edit other written content before publishing.
• Ability to create engaging content that will be published on our website, social media pages, and other digital platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (or equivalent) and the ability to learn new software programs quickly.
• Fluency of major social platforms and creative best practices for ad results across channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Google, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Develop original content that will be published on our website, social media pages, and other digital platforms (e.g., articles, infographics, infographics templates).
• Write engaging copy that will be used to attract new customers and maintain an existing customer base (e.g., headlines, headings, subheadings, sub-headlines).
• Create original graphics that will be used to design web pages or print pages (e.g., banners, infographics).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
