If so, you’re the ideal fit for our Content and Social Media Manager position!
In this position, you’ll be creating a wide variety of content across a multitude of platforms. You'll also regularly be copywriting, social media scheduling, email marketing, and blogging for SEO.
Applicants should understand that this is a writing-intensive position which requires keen attention to detail along with creative thinking skills. Impeccable grammar and spelling are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Developing skills in all areas of copywriting: Web and print content, blogging for SEO, social media content and scheduling, email marketing
- Actively learning and putting content strategies into practice for the best results for clients
- Responsible for implementing content strategies and testing what works and what doesn’t to optimize results for clients
- Stay current on emerging marketing and industry trends, topics and current events
- Enthusiastic about finding avenues to implement AI-generated content
Duties:
- Regularly produce high quality, engaging writing directed at the target audience
- Writing blogs for SEO, social media posts, and email campaigns for a variety of clients
- Scheduling social media posts across a number of channel
- Writing copy for websites, print materials, and digital ads
- Develop and execute content strategies in coordination with predefined SEO goals
- Proactively bring ideas to the table for website content, social media content, blog posts, promotions, email campaigns, etc.
Qualifications:
- Absolutely must have strong creative writing skills with proper grammar and spelling
- Excellent communication skills and follow-through
- A strong desire to learn new things and grow to meet new goals
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the demands and directions of the work frequently change
- A degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, etc.) would be considered an asset (but not required).
- Experience using digital content management tools as well as a basic knowledge of digital marketing analysis platforms (e.g. WordPress, Google Analytics, and Social Media dashboards)
- Knowledge of SEO and the ability to pair it with engaging content
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 - 30 per week
Salary: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
