We are looking for a creative, innovative and proactive social media enthusiast to become an integral member of our Social Media Team, is this you?
About the role
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will utilise your experience and passion for all things social to help lead the day-to-day management of our organic social media channels. Key activities include developing and delivering engaging audience-led content using data-driven insights and managing our thriving social community. You will also work on two of our flagship fundraising campaigns, producing engaging content that inspires and motivates our audience to support our work. The inspiring patients, dedicated hospital staff and amazing supporters are at the heart of all content we share on social. You will have the opportunity to work closely with them, sensitively interviewing and gathering social-appropriate content to share their stories and showcase the extraordinary work of the hospital and the impact made by GOSH Charity.
About the team
Building positive relationships is key to this role. As a member of the Social Media Team, you will work directly with the Social Media Manager and Social Media Intern. You will also collaborate with key hospital and charity stakeholders to identify, capture and deliver content in line with the charity’s priorities and audience needs.
About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for an engaging content creator, collaborative communicator, data-led decision maker and compassionate storyteller.
Must haves! The ideal candidate will have experience in:
Planning and delivering multi-channel social media content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Twitter- Proven ability to create engaging platform-specific social posts, including excellent copywriting and basic design and video skills.
- In-depth knowledge of using social media management tools such as Sprout Social and Meta Business Tools to effectively complete tasks involving scheduling, reporting, social listening and community management.
- Working with an external community management agencies to manage reputational risks, answer queries and improve audience engagement
- Working with multiple stakeholders at varying levels
- Working with children and families in sensitive situations to collect and share their stories

How to Apply
Our approach to hybrid working
This exciting opportunity is based in our Central London office (WC1N, opposite Russell Square Underground) with the option to work remotely up to three days a week. The successful candidate will be required to travel from time to time and there may be times when you need to work out of core hours to ensure delivery of projects.
