Job description
We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our team and help increase sales to each of our online marketplaces, Gogroopie.com, Gogroopie.ie and Discountexperts.com. Our collection of marketplaces boasts over 40,000 product listings from thousands of online retailers meaning endless possibilities for super-engaging and hyper-profitable social media content and paid marketing campaigns.
This is a newly created role to support the continued growth of our social media marketing initiative. Initially, this role will take control of our existing Facebook marketing program, so a wealth of experience in this area will be essential. However, as the job title suggests, we’re not just looking for someone to run our Facebook advertising!
We’re looking for someone we can build a whole new social media marketing team around in 2023, someone with the experience and a passion for advertising on all social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube.
Working directly with our Operations Director, the right candidate will be sure to receive all the help and support you need to take the social media program we have today and transform it into something amazing!

Initial Duties and Responsibilities
- Selecting sought-after products from our extensive online product inventory to advertise on Facebook
- Create and design your marketing assets and work with our in-house content team to replicate your product vision on our platforms.
- Build and maintain a portfolio of profitable Facebook marketing campaigns for our brands in both the UK and Ireland.
- Flex and control your selected products' commercial makeup to yield the best return on marketing spend.
- Manage sizeable marketing budgets across each of our brands.
- Identify the new hot products in the world of social media for our sales team to source in. If it's selling on social media, our sales team will source it in!
- Liaise with our support teams to ensure the products and retailers you advertise meet our quality and service standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
