Summary: An alumni coordinator oversees alumni activities and services. Their responsibilities include organizing events such as alumni meetings and outings. They will handle all communications with Rise alumni. Their goal is to get alumni active in the community and to help them integrate into the recovery community while tracking outcomes.
The Social media manager establishes an organization’s online presence and brand value by promoting the company and its products or services through the use of videos, photos, infographics or text posts on social media platforms. The social media manager will be required to drive engagement by creating high-quality original content. Their goal is to set and reach goals involving the reach of our social media accounts.
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or 2 years of work-related experience preferred; bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience. Proven experience in public relations or similar role; preferably in the field of substance abuse treatment or behavioral health.
Individual must possess an understanding of various social media platforms, digital marketing trends, analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and maintain confidentiality.
Essential Functions:
A:
Engages with patients during inpatient and outpatient treatment by leading recovery groups and activities.- Organizes events to form connections among alumni and continue connectivity between alumni.
- Builds strong rapport with alumni through follow-up texts, emails, and social media.
- Leads and hosts virtual and onsite alumni support meetings on a regular basis.
- Helps create volunteer, mentoring, and service opportunities to increase alumni involvement.
- Supports development of facility’s budget and financial plans related to alumni program.
- Meets with all patients prior to their discharge to discuss their continuum of care plan, their direct contact information including but not limited to: cell phone, email address, social media etc.
- Follows up on all discharges to ensure education on benefits of alumni program. Follows up on discharged patients to monitor status and engage in discussion on alumni program.
- Facilitates groups and other activities as needed.
- Develops, manages, and maintains logs and records of all individuals enrolled in the alumni program.
- Engages staff in other departments to ensure knowledge of the program and proper coordination of services.
- Reaches out to every Alumni once they have completed treatment and keeps them actively involved in the Alumni family.
- Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence.
- Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand.
- Interacting with past or future patients via the company’s social media accounts.Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements.Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities.Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media accounts, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring the accounts performance.
