Job description
As our social media apprentice, you will leverage your expertise in social media platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram, to engage our community and drive business growth. Your primary objectives will be to increase membership at our sessions and promote upcoming events and discovery days.
- Create engaging and high-quality videos and pictures showcasing the football sessions, capturing the joy, social skills, and exercise benefits for children aged 2-10 years
- Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with the academy's values and branding guidelines, focusing on post-session highlights, event promotion, and upcoming discovery days
- Post content on TikTok and Instagram after sessions and events or to promote upcoming events and discovery days
- Respond promptly and professionally to comments, direct messages, and inquiries on social media platforms
- Collaborate with the academy's team members and coaches to capture the best images and content that promotes the business and its sessions
- Stay updated on industry trends and social media best practices, proactively suggesting new ideas and strategies to enhance our online presence
- Take ownership of the role, driving the social media strategy with minimal supervision while receiving training and support as needed

Training will be at Doncaster College where you will access a wide range of facilities on offer.
Day release:
You will undertake The Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship standard.
