We are neighbourhood pubs for the community, and the Social Media Manager plays a huge part in building brand awareness, particularly with the locals. Working directly with the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day content creation & social media management for all of our sites.
You’ll need to be a self-starter, who is keen to get stuck in, with an innate sense of urgency, extremely organized and able to juggle multiple long or short-term projects.
You are creative, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Your experience will mean you are able stay up to date with current industry & social platform trends and employ that experience where it will be of benefit to the company. It’s crucial that you understand our cultural objectives and are able to translate them across the relevant digital platforms.
Some of the bits you’ll be responsible for include:
· Develop and execute captivating social campaigns that align with the Dodo Pub Co. brand identity and marketing objectives.
· Create and Curate compelling content, including eye-catching visuals, engaging videos and Witty Captions in line with the company’s tone of voice with an aim to captivate our audience and spark engaging conversations.
· Schedule and publish content across multiple social media channels, optimizing the posting times for maximum reach and engagement.
· Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments and messages and cultivate an engaged audience that reflects Dodo Pub Co.’s values and personality.
· Analyse social media performance metrics with an eye to increasing brand awareness for the company. Identify trends, insights and opportunities for continued improvement.
· Collaborate with the Dodo Pub Co. Marketing Manager and Head Office team in order to deliver a marketing strategy that aligns with the company goals.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates and industry best practices in order to stay ahead of the game.
The stuff you already know that’s going to make you great at this role:
● Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in the hospitality, food, lifestyle or the entertainment industry.
● Have a deep understanding of various social media platforms, their unique features and best practices for audience engagement.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
● You have strong creatively skills and an ability to think outside the box that’ll enable you to create unique and engaging content.
● Proficient in social media scheduling and analytics tools to measure and track performance
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
● A passion for the Hospitality industry and a curiosity to explore new ways to connect with our audience.
● Proven experience in creating engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, Tiktok & Facebook.
● An enthusiastic team player with a resilient, and problem-solving attitude
● Willingness to travel & get stuck in!
