Part-time or Full-time available
£21, 730 per annum + retention bonus + unsocial hours rates and overtime
(Expected earnings on full-time basis £25k+)

We have an excellent opportunity to join the NHS on a part-time or full-time basis, supporting the public by answering and professionally handling 111 calls with empathy and attention to detail. 111 Health Advisors are mediators, influencers, pacifiers, and life savers - no two calls are the same.

About the job
By providing excellent customer service and maintaining the trusts high standards, you will be helping people in their time of need. As a 111 Health Advisor, you will take a variety of incoming calls from patients, providing them with an appropriate response to urgent healthcare needs within a timeframe. This could range from booking a GP appointment, advising them to attend an out of hour's service or even dispatching an ambulance.
When will you work?
The service runs from 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and all rolling shift patterns will typically involve working a mixture of day, evening, and weekend shifts. Example shift rotas available, and you will receive your shift roster 13 weeks in advance. You must be available to work full time evening shifts during the first 4 weeks for training.
We currently have full-time and part-time roles available. The initial training is 37.5 hours a week. After training the contracts available are 12, 18, 24 and 37.5 hours per week (subject to availability). Your annual salary will reflect your weekly hours however on top of your salary, you have the potential to earn more! For all day Saturday (midnight to midnight) and any weekday after 8pm and before 6am you get time plus 35%. For And all time worked on Sundays and Public Holidays (midnight to midnight) you receive time plus 69%.
What will you need to succeed?
You need to be highly professional, a strong listener with excellent communication skills and telephone manner. It is essential that you can follow processes and procedures. You must be resilient, empathetic, passionate about high quality patient care and be caring and able to remain calm under pressure.
Working as part of a Call Centre team, you will need to be comfortable using a range of databases and web-based applications. Crucial to this role is that you are ICT literate, have excellent customer service skills, can use multiple systems, have great attention to detail and are able to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
