Job Description:
As a Social Media Manager and Content Creator, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing effective social media strategies for our clients. You will be responsible for managing multiple social media accounts, creating engaging content, and fostering meaningful connections with target audiences. Your expertise will contribute to building brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and achieving our clients' business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for clients, aligned with their marketing goals and target audience.
- Manage and optimise social media accounts across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
- Create compelling, high-quality content, including graphics, videos, written posts, and infographics, tailored for different social media channels and client requirements.
- Collaborate with the creative team to produce visually appealing and impactful content that aligns with clients' brand guidelines.
- Conduct thorough research and stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Utilize social media management tools and analytics to track and measure the performance of campaigns, generate insights, and optimize future strategies.
- Stay abreast of algorithm changes and best practices in social media marketing to ensure maximum visibility and engagement for clients' accounts.
- Collaborate closely with clients, account managers, and cross-functional teams to gather content requirements, understand target audience preferences, and deliver exceptional results.
- Provide regular reports and presentations to clients, highlighting key performance metrics, campaign achievements, and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably at a creative and marketing agency.
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for content creation, community management, and on occasion paid advertising.
- Proficiency in design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Cap Cut etc) to create visually appealing content.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to adapt writing style for different social media platforms and client requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Experience with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and reporting.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with London's local market trends and consumer behavior is a plus.
