Responsibilities:

• Agile Servant Leadership: Deliver expert guidance on Agile principles and practices, guaranteeing their effective implementation within the organization. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agility with a servant leadership mindset

• Champion the Method: Advocate and Evangelize the Agile and Scrum methodology

• Team Empowerment: Lead team collaboration, decision-making, and problem-solving processes. Encourage teams to self-organize, promote accountability, and deliver high-quality results

• Process Optimization: Seek out chances for process improvement and drive initiatives to improve team efficiency, productivity, and overall project delivery

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and leadership to align priorities, manage expectations, and ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements:

• Proven Experience:
  • Demonstrated success as a Scrum Master for a software development team
  • 5+ years of membership in a high functioning Scrum team, in any role
  • 8+ years of experience working in an Enterprise environment

• Agile Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), with the talent to tailor methods to meet project demands

• Collaborative Leader and Strong Communicator: Excellent people skills, including facilitation, conflict resolution, and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Outstanding people coach and mentor

• Continuous Learning: A growth mindset, staying informed about emerging practices, and Agile certifications (CSM or PSM)

Additional "Nice to Haves":

• First level Scrum Master certification (PSM 1, CSM)
• Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in of different contexts (team sizes, organizations, cultures, etc.)
• History of continued education in Scrum -training, conferences, self-study, etc.
• Knowledge/experience with methods like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing, Agile Games
• Relevant experience using Jira Agile and Confluence or comparable

Please note that this role will be an in-person. onsite position at either or Houston, TX or Farmington, CT office.

For candidates working in person in Farmington, CT, the salary* range for this specific position is $129,800 - $175,700 per annum.
