SUMMARY
To teach and deliver the EFL courses to non native speakers of English at city centre language school. Hiring throughout the year, flexible contracts to meet your needs.
Qualifications
A first degree.
CELTA or equivalent (minimum)
Core Duties
Teaching the target language as assessed by Director of Studies who will observe lessons and give feedback.
Responding to feedback from the Director of Studies
Preparing all classes to suit the abilities and needs of your students. This may mean differentiating the programme, and adapting materials provided.
Encouraging students to use and develop learner independence wherever appropriate.
Maintaining up-to-date and complete registers, lesson records, and student files.
Lesson preparation including adapting and creating program lesson plans according to specific class needs.
Maintaining good order in classroom
Punctuality of teacher and students for all classes and events
Advising office immediately of any absences
Encouraging lively student participation in a well-structured environment.
Tidy and safe classroom.
Tidy and presentable student files.
Involvement in student placement testing and writing student reports

Working Hours
Variable, depending on student numbers and courses, classes are taught 09:15 - 12:30 and 13:30 - 16:00
Pay is £20.00 - £23.00 / hour + 12.07% holiday bonus pay accrued (depending on qualifications / experience)
