Social Media Manager and Content Creator
Location: Central London
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Bonus
We are looking for a Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join their growing team; someone who has a genuine passion for social media and visual storytelling. You should have strong creative skills and a keen eye for style, as well as a deep knowledge of social media content and management, and a finger on the pulse of what's coming next within social media trends.
This role will mainly involve content capture and creation for our social media channels and working closely on exciting campaigns collaboratively with the Operation Manager, however could also include working on newsletters, blogs, client gifting, company showcase events, communication with press, agency networks, suppliers, influencers, bloggers and speaker networks, awards bodies, thought leaders and of course clients (existing and new). We need a dynamic, creative and organised individual to support our comms and help generate awareness of and connect people to the brand.
Key responsibilities:
- Promoting the organisation, its team and importantly, its work.
- Attending our events to capture and create visually beautiful and engaging content for Social Media channels.
- Supporting the Ops Manager in developing and delivering an internal and external communications and marketing strategy across all social, website and digital channels.
- Used to using trends in consumer or audience habits to make media that engages and increases the company's profile. Keeping track of and presenting most important social media KPIs & metrics.
- Creating and managing social media content and scheduling. Measuring the success of every social media campaign. Staying up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Knowledgeable in the use of the best social media marketing tools.
- Working with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing Collaborating with Marketing, Sales and Event teams Monitoring SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization Communicating with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network. Working as part of a vibrant, friendly and close knit team.
About you!
- Has a genuine passions for content creation and social media Has a creative eye for capturing content from our events and event spaces to create current, engaging and stylised reels, stories & posts.
- Has strong communication skills, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Has the ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments and cultures. Is comfortable in a small business environment.
- Is happy to work out of hours to capture events for social media.
- Is able to create and post content in real time at events.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Marketing / Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Strong social media knowledge and creative eye for content.
- Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions.
- Good knowledge of Instagram / Facebook ads.
- Up to date with social media best practices & trends.
- Good understanding of Canva and other editing software/apps.
- Excellent video / reel editing skills. Good understanding of social media KPIs.
- Excellent multitasking skills. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. Team player.
- Good time-management skills.
- Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
