Social Media & Marketing Intern (paid internship)
About Temple:
Temple provides music artists and their teams with all the tools they need to promote music, events and merch to their fanbase - in a single platform.
We've raised $2.5m in VC funding giving us at least 2 years in runway to execute on our ambitious vision to transform the artist-to-fan relationship. We're currently a small, close knit team of 6. What you’ll do:
As Social Media & Content Intern, you’ll support Marketing and Content at Temple. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Lead to develop engaging content for various social media platforms and Marketing channels. You’ll assist in managing the organisation's online presence and become a guardian of the brand.
This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, and marketing. Providing you demonstrate passion and clear results, the role has potential to lead to a permanent ‘Social Media & Marketing Exec’ position atTemple subject to performance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Content Creation:Collaborate with Marketing Lead to plan and create engaging written and visual content for Temple's social media platforms and blog, including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Social Media Management:Support social media management through content scheduling, audience engagement, trend monitoring, and research on best practices.
Content Curation and Sourcing: Curate and source engaging content from external sources, share industry news, and create compelling visuals to enhance social media and marketing initiatives.
Community Engagement: Engage with the online community through responding to messages, comments, and fostering connections with followers and users through regular interaction and engagement.
Reporting and Analytics: Inspire and fuel growth, generate reports on social media and marketing performance, analyse key data and insights, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with the Marketing Lead and team to maintain brand consistency and to implement powerful content strategies.
You should apply if:
- Current enrolment or completion of a Bachelor's degree.
- You have a strong passion for digital marketing and social media.
- You haver excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You’re proficient in using social media platforms for personal or professional use.
- You’ve got a basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
- You have familiarity with marketing analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
- You’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
- You’re a creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
- You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Skills and Experience (not mandatory but a plus):
- Previous internship or relevant work experience in marketing or social media.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Builder.io, Mailchimp or CRM platforms).
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
- Familiarity with paid advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).

Interview Process:
- 1 x 45 minute Interview with Marketing Lead and CEO.
- Here we’ll get to know you a little better and you can get to know us a little better
- We would love for you to present 3 social media post ideas for Temple.
- You’ll be shared with a brief to complete this task 1 week prior to the interview.
