Bruce K9 Ltd is looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team. Our dogs are our family and our employees are the backbone of our business. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting clients and their dogs by name upon arrival
- Cleaning kennels, cages, and enclosures to ensure a clean environment for the animals
- Bathing dogs, feeding the animals, and brushing their teeth
- Providing basic care for the animals: washing dishes, scooping litter, feeding the dogs, etc.
- Locking up equipment after use to prevent damage
- Restocking supplies as needed from stockroom
- Scrubbing floors and grills as needed to maintain a clean environment for the animals
- Other duties as assigned by management
Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work in cold, hot weather, and in all types of weather for extended periods of time; will be exposed to various diets and food types as needed
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship, Graduate
Part-time hours: 35 per week
Salary: £8.00-£10.50 per hour
