Social Media Intern Remote
Job description
BLUR is searching for an intern to join our remote content and social media team. This team are responsible for producing engaging content on Instagram, as well as be part of the editorial team. You must be passionate about fashion and have a great eye to detail. This is a position with a 6 month review for a paid contract. This position is ideal for a student who is learning the ropes of the fashion industry, especially working in a fashion magazine.
Responsibilities include:
-Responsible for page editorial
- Run social media accounts (post daily with engaging content + recruit submissions to the magazine by contacting photographers and models via our social media channels)
- Contact the team credits and notify them that once the issue they are published in is out
- Ensuring quality is maintained and enhanced to strengthen brand language
-Send marketing emails, automated email campaigns
-Contributing ideas for the magazine
- Advertising submission to the magazine
- Develop a social media plan in line with the above for approval from the Editor-in-Chief
-Plan, prepare, post, schedule, and test new social media content
-Develop tactics for growing followers and engagement
Do you have what it takes?
- Excellent communication and social skills
- Creative and consistent writing skills to develop engaging social content
- Some working knowledge of the fashion business
- Passionate about working in a fashion magazine
- Access to a laptop - this is a remote intern position

Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in social media and/or digital marketing (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter).
- You have excellent writing skills (English) and are comfortable writing in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects at once.
- You must be able to work independently and be flexible to change direction on a daily basis.
