The ATP Tour, Inc. is the governing body of the men's professional tennis circuits - the ATP Tour, the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP Champions Tour. With 64 tournaments in 31 countries, the ATP Tour showcases the finest male athletes competing in the world’s most exciting venues. The purpose of the ATP is to own, sanction, schedule and administer one or more circuits of professional tennis tournaments; to own one or more professional tennis tournaments; to develop, promulgate, and administer rules, regulations and grievance procedures to ensure the fair and orderly conduct of professional tennis tournaments and circuits thereof and the sport of professional tennis; to promote and further the interest of professional tennis players and professional tennis tournaments and circuits thereof throughout the world; to promote the interest of one or more public charities; to improve the conditions under which professional tennis players engage in their occupation; to increase the status and public perception of professional tennis as a major world class international sport; to promote and protect the future of the sport of professional tennis; and to encourage interest in the sport of tennis.

PURPOSE
The position of Social Media Intern is for someone who genuinely understands the social landscape and the way it works. We want the ATP to be embedded in culture naturally and in an authentic and credible way, with an emphasis on regular, quality content that both appeals to current fans and attracts new audiences to the sport.
This position requires passion and dedication, presenting a rare opportunity to work in one of the few truly global sports. It will entail regular weekend working and a detailed understanding of tennis. The Social Media Intern must be based in London, UK office and reports to the Senior Social Media Manager but will take overarching direction from the Director of Social Media.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work alongside the Social Media team to help execute social media strategies
- Support the Social Media team in day-to-day posting across social platforms
- Assist with monitoring matches, requesting clips, and editing footage
- Assist with managing content management platform- labelling and scheduling content
- Help manage content distribution platform for players
- Assist in managing and updating the social editorial calendar
- Help to coordinate monthly Social Media dashboard reporting
- Creation of basic social graphics
- Ideating new content ideas to support Tour, players and tournament channels
- Investigate new potential opportunities to promote the league
- Special projects, as required
- Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager
Skills and Attributes:
• Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok
- Interest in the wider social media landscape- new formats, trends, platform trials and innovations across different verticals is also beneficial
- Detailed Tennis knowledge is essential
- Strong and versatile copywriting skills. The candidate needs to be able to adapt instantly to the brand’s tone-of-voice with flawless grammar and articulation, mixed with a distinctive flair of style
- A creative at heart with some graphic design and video editing skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- A confident individual who is comfortable supporting a process driven environment to add consistency and structure to a remote and dynamic team and ever-changing landscape
- We’re looking for imagination and creative spark, with a sharp eye for detail, ability to prioritise, deal with feedback and stay calm under pressure.
