Position Objective:

To manage the social media fundraising strategy for PETA entities, including by devising, implementing, and coordinating new fundraising projects and creating new programmes to acquire, retain, and upgrade members

£26,000 - £30,000

Reports to:

Associate Director of International Digital Fundraising

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Devise and implement a social media fundraising strategy for PETA entities
  • Work with the associate director of international digital fundraising to devise and implement innovative new programmes to help recruit, retain, and upgrade PETA entity supporters
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure projects are successfully implemented within devised timelines
  • Create and maintain budgets for each new project, including income, expenditure, and future projections
  • Report regularly on the progress and financial return of projects to the associate director of international digital fundraising and the wider fundraising team
  • Ensure strict adherence to data protection regulations, PCI standards, and the standard operating procedures of PETA entities
  • Research and keep up to date with new technologies and practices within the fundraising and non-profit sector
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a non-profit, fundraising, or marketing environment
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Engaging Networks, and Raiser’s Edge preferred
  • Proven effective research skills and the ability to synthesise and present information
  • Proven ability to prioritise and handle numerous projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to occasionally work on weekends
  • Commitment to the objectives of the organisation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
