SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE / MARKETING TRAINEE
We are one of the largest family owned Ford Dealer Groups in Scotland. We have an opportunity for a creative, passionate and driven individual to make their mark on an already successful marketing strategy. We are looking for someone who understands our customer journey and has sufficient experience both on and off-line.
Working with Ford Motor Company, 3rdParty service providers and Group management to promote the sale of New & Used Ford Cars and Commercial Vehicles across four Branches.
You will have the freedom to develop your own ideas, while working in a Team to deliver innovative marketing. You will work with a talented bunch of designers, developers, photographers and social media specialists to plan, implement and analyse all marketing activity. You will make decisions based on data, rather than opinion and have a strong analytical mindset. You will be digitally savvy and thrive on delivering strong results to tight deadlines.
This role will report directly to our Head of Marketing, but you will be given autonomy to be able to shape this role and the activity carried out across our four Dealerships. Responsibilities as a Social Media Executive will be to focus on lead generation by assisting in the following activity: -
- Content Creation – you will be writing posts for the social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, and Youtube, gathering video content, and developing creatives for social media and offline activity.
- Managing the digital platforms – you will need to ensure that our website, social media platforms, and online listings are up to date. Ensure the minimum social media post frequency is achieved on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Manage the group Youtube channel to ensure franchise playlists are up to date with relevant and engaging video content.
- Ensure Group social channels are populated with fresh and relevant social content in line with brand standards.
- Daily management of Facebook incoming messages, comments, and reviews.
- Work closely with the social media champions at the dealerships to produce high quality content.
- Assist the HR Department with regular recruitment social posts to attract new applicants.
- Monitor and manage the group Website stock including adherence to image standards and engaging video content.
- Event management - manage and coordinate the company's presence at in dealership and off-site events.
- Working with our agency to create and showcase good news stories.
- Daily management of company social media accounts, including monitoring and responding to interactions and messages.
- Write creative messaging for campaigns across the full range of channels, including email marketing and social content for both client and candidate audiences.
- Ownership of social media calendar, including seasonal campaigns.
- Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts to increase attraction and maximise brand awareness.
- Liaise with the PPC agency on how social ads are performing.
- Liaise with and brief designers on new materials and projects.
· Monthly reporting and analysis to develop future activities.
· Online Review Management and replies.
