Social Media Executive

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000

Fixed Term Contract: 6 Months

As a part of the new Digital Marketing and Media Team, we have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract as a Social Media Executive reporting into the Social Media Lead.

You’ll join a team of friendly and performance driven social media types who can turn results and insights into action.

You’ll need to have demonstrable experience in developing digital marketing content, ideally for social media platforms, to educate and inform followers while driving reach and engagement.

A bit about the job:

The Social Media Executive will support with the ideation, creation, planning, and delivery of social posts for our customer facing social channels. You will be responsible for coming up with ways we can align with business priorities and create social first content for our channels that support the wider business messages and drive engagement on our channels.

Once ideas are agreed, you’ll then be responsible for helping bring them to life by collaborating with designers and internal stakeholders. Finally, you will need to help ensure that all posts have correct levels of business sign off before scheduling publication across our platforms and reporting on performance.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Proven social channel experience on multiple platforms, across various products, propositions, and brands to deliver business growth.
Experience proactively managing, optimising, and creating social media posts, working with platform partners, creative agencies, and media agencies to deliver best practice.
Experience coordinating with different stakeholders to move content through creative, review and sign-off processes.
Ability to partner with Media and Digital Marketing colleagues to develop a holistic approach to marketing programs and campaigns that support cross-channel experiences.
Experience in content ideation, filming and editing lo-fi video content specifically for TikTok.

What you’ll get for this role:

Annual salary between: £35,000 to £40,000 (skills, experience, and qualifications)
